Most of my current research is on applied epistemology. I have particular interests in rumours, conspiracy theories, the blogosphere, Wikipedia, expertise, and democratic theory. I have also published on the metaphysics of causation, philosophy of law, cricket ethics, the ethics of horror films, and police ethics.
I am the author of What to Believe Now: Applying Epistemology to Contemporary Issues (2012, Wiley-Blackwell) and the editor of Conspiracy Theories: The Philosophical Debate (2006, Ashgate).
