My current research is into global ethical issues in nursing. I am completing a chapter ‘Nursing Ethics in a Changing World’ for a professional ethics textbook edited by Peter Bowden, under the auspices of the Australian Association for Professional and Applied Ethics, published by Tilde University Press.
I am a member of the editorial boards of Nursing Ethics and Menopause International.
Most of my publications are related to ethical issues in the care of older people, especially the problems faced by older women. My future research focus is on police ethics, particularly on the impact of ethics education on the way graduating police officers deal with ethical issues in their daily practice.
