Casual Marking rates
The number of assignments that must be marked per hour is as follows:

NB These payments are for additional
marking, ie for a second essay in the unit. Tutors are expected
to mark one assignment/student as part of their tutorial payment.
Casual Pay Claims
For any expenditure from School funds, approval must be sought from
the Head of School prior to approaching potential employees.
Expressions of interest are to be sought once approval has been
given by the Head of School to proceed. Written details,
including Head of School approval, can then be forwarded
to the Executive Assistant along with number of tutorials/lectures/hours,
description of duties and maximum budget to be applied. The Executive
Assistant will then prepare all paperwork for signature.
The Executive Assistant can approve up to $5,000.
Prior to commencement of work, the green casual employment
authority and tax file number declaration
will need to be completed by the casual employee. These are available
from the Executive Assistant.
Once work has commenced, the white
casual employment pay claim form needs to be submitted
by the casual employee to Executive Assistant fortnightly.

Limited-Term Contract
As with casual employment, approval must be sought from Head
of School prior to preparation of documents which include:
