Since completing my PhD thesis in August 2005 I have worked as a quantitative geneticist under Assoc Prof Rene Vaillancourt and Prof Brad Potts in collaboration with the CRC for Forestry and industrial partners, contributing to research on the ARC linkage grant: Unravelling the relationship between growth and wood properties in temperate eucalypts.
From the start of April 2006 I have contributed 50% of my time to work on a Horticulture Australia Limited (HAL) grant for Hop Products Australia and the University of Tasmania.
