The symbiotic relationship between legumes and specific soil microorganisms collectively referred to as Rhizobia is quite complex and ultimately results in the formation of a new nitrogen-fixing organ known as the nodule.
Plant hormones play crucial roles in the development and functioning of the nodule. This project uses hormone mutants of pea to gain a better understanding of these roles.
