The stomata of angiosperms are valves that are under complex control, being able to respond to the water stress of the plant, atmospheric carbon dioxide, the humidity of the air, and light of different waverlengths.
This project is about studying the stomata of lycophytes, ferns and conifers, as well as different groups of angiosperms to determine how this sophisticated system evolved.
