Research Themes

Anton’s research interest combines the fields of materials science, nanotechnology and analytical chemistry. More specifically, the current research project is dedicated  to the preparation and characterisation of a new generation of carbon based composite materials for the application in separation science. The ultimate aim of this project is to utilise the superior properties of novel carbon and nanocarbon materials for the benefit of environmental monitoring, health and safety, bio applications and diagnostics. Additionally, Anton is interested in the fundamental theory of chromatography, including the development of new separation techniques and their integration in the industrial process.
