Additional Information

Dr Julie Davidson is a social scientist with interests in environmental planning and management. Her main area of research is environmental governance, particularly governance of natural resources and marine systems. She is interested in the resilience of coupled social-ecological systems in the face of heightened global change. From 2009 to 2013, she worked with the Marine Biodiversity and Resources Adaptation Network, where she focused on the resilience of marine social-ecological systems in the context of climate change and interdisciplinary approaches to adaptation. She has also investigated the adequacy of marine biodiversity governance arrangements in the face of climate-induced changes in Australia's marine environment.
