Infrastructure & Facilities Management Information System (Archibus)

UTAS Commercial Services and Development (CSD) uses Archibus to manage its data relating to:

• space
• work requests
• assets
• energy and sustainability
• properties and leases
• parking permits
• projects
• minor works
• condition audits
• hazards
• emergency contacts.

Archibus is the world’s number 1 infrastructure and facilities management information system. Archibus is used by over 4 million users worldwide to manage 5 million properties.

Infrastructure and facilities reports

Reports containing data from Archibus are available online. These reports include:

• List of UTAS emergency wardens
• UTAS asbestos register
• Work requests (facilities staff access only)
• Maintainable assets (facilities staff access only)

Spatial information

Fi Gateway (SISfm Enquiry)

Fi Gateway is a web-based spatial information system that integrates graphic (CAD) and geographic (GIS) information with core operational data held in Archibus.

UTAS staff and students can log in to the FI Gateway to access information on UTAS campuses. Information includes:

• campus maps
• building floor plans
• faculty and school allocated space (staff access only)
• room types (staff access only)

Future Development

CSD is committed to the continual development of its information tools and reporting. Some of the system and data enhancements that we are currently developing include:

• a mobile Fi Gateway (SISfm Enquiry) interface for mobile internet devices 
• an energy/utilities management system
• environmental reporting
• the restructure of assets in the maintainable asset hierarchy (MAH).
