The University of Tasmania (UTAS) has developed a sustainable transport strategy to guide investments and actions that deliver more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable transport outcomes and travel behaviours.
The UTAS Sustainable Transport Strategy summarises information on transport issues and practices within the University community and maps out a pathway towards more sustainable transport practices and outcomes. The strategy covers all UTAS campuses and facilities located in Tasmania’s south (Hobart region), north (Launceston region), north-west (Cradle Coast region), and interstate facilities, and addresses transport issues for the whole UTAS community, including students, staff and visitors.
