Nominations are now OPEN for the 2012 Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Outstanding Community Engagement.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Outstanding Community Engagement aim to recognise staff members (or teams of staff members) who have made an outstanding contribution as members of the University of Tasmania to community life over the previous twelve months. The specific contributions can include a wide range of community areas and can involve many different activities on the part of the staff member (or team of staff members).

Up to four awards are available annually, and may be offered to individuals or teams.

The award guidelines, nomination form and a list of past winners can be accessed below.

Nominations must be received by the close of business (5pm) on 22 June 2012 and should be sent to the Office of the Provost, Private Bag 51 Hobart, or emailed to Provost.Office@utas.edu.au.
