We are currently looking for new and exciting ideas for healthy activities to be held during 2012. UTAS Launceston staff walking group
The Heart Foundation run a network of free community based walking groups throughout Tasmania to promote improved health through regular walking. The UTAS Newnham Campus has established a Walking Group and have integrated the walks into the Active UTAS schedule of physical activity options for staff . Continuing throughout September and October, the Active UTAS timetable is offering activities ranging from weekly walks, Pilates classes, Zumba, Golf clinics. Activities intend to cater for all interests and abilities, so there is sure to be something for you.
