The Launceston Chamber of Commerce supports a dynamic business community to achieve sustainable economic prosperity for Launceston and the region. Fulfilment of these aspirations will, in turn, provide an environment in which UTAS can grow and one to which it can attract students and quality staff.

UTAS works closely with the Launceston Chamber of Commerce in facilitating activities that encourage interaction between UTAS students, business and industry. The Launceston Chamber of Commerce can link UTAS with business groups that may wish to support students via provision of employment, scholarships, internship placements and mentoring.
