Launceston City Council
At the September 2008 signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), UTAS and Launceston City Council agreed to work together to identify joint venture projects that enhances UTAS status and create new business, cultural and social opportunities in the Launceston region.
Launceston City Council and UTAS meet regularly to review progress of the MOU, discuss opportunities and to share information, resources, skills and knowledge. Both parties appreciate the symbiotic nature of the relationship and that, by working together, results for the region will be maximised.
In addition to the general, almost daily interaction and support, UTAS and Launceston City Council have some specific engagement projects in place.
