Jo ArcherLaunceston Engagement and Development Manager

Jo works with internal and external communities to fulfil UTAS goals of increasing participation rates and research activity, enhancing student learning experiences, and maximizing opportunities for UTAS to contribute to the social and economic well being of the State.

Jo has a strong corporate background in media, marketing, event management and economic and community development. She was Executive Officer of the Launceston Chamber of Commerce for 10 years prior to her role at UTAS.

From a ‘development’ perspective, she is keen to ensure that UTAS at Launceston highlights its distinctive position, facilities and programs and is acknowledged for its contribution to the overall success of UTAS and the region.

Jo is a Director of the RACT and St Giles Society and a Member of the UTAS Faculty of Business Advisory Board. She is also a Fellow, Councillor and active Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
