Investigating the relationship between personality and social anxiety

This study will investigate how certain personality traits predict emotions, thoughts and behaviours in response to stimuli. This project will require you to fill in three short scales about personality. You will also be required to use mental imagery whilst listening to a description of an everyday situation, as well as recall a personal experience in which you felt anxious. You will then fill in brief questionnaires about both tasks.

All students who are 18+ years and who are based at the Hobart campus , are eligible to participate.

You will receive research participation credit of 45 minutes.

If you are interested, please contact me via telephone or email (below) to organise a time convenient for you to participate.

Approx. June 2009.
