  Background Information  

The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students & Education) and the Centre for Advancement of Learning and Teaching (CALT) offered a number of fractional fellowship positions for the period commencing Semester 2, 2008 until the end of Semester 1, 2009.

The Fellowships attracted between $20,000 and $60,000 in funding

The UTAS Fellowship Program is currently under review. An updated version will be posted as soon as it is available.

  Submission Assistance 

Submission Format

Submissions should be brief (no more than 3-4 pages) and should provide information using the following headings:

  • Name, School/s and Contact Details of applicant
  • Reasons for seeking the fellowship
  • Aims of project to be completed during fellowship
  • Outline of project
  • Timeline
  • Budget, including funding sought and other support provided by School/Faculty
  • Expected outcomes, including applicability of the outcomes to other Schools/Faculties
  • Dissemination strategies - how will the project outcomes be disseminated broadly within the university?

Assistance in Drafting Submissions

Applicants seeking assistance in the preparation of their submissions should contact the Awards and Grants office at awards.grants@utas.edu.au.

Fellows may also wish to work with the Awards and Grants Team to develop proposals that could at a future time be used as the basis for applications under the Carrick Institute Fellowship Scheme.

Submission Due Date

The UTAS Fellowship Program is currently under review.  It is anticipated the next call for submissions will be early 2010.
