UTAS Grants - Teaching Development Grants

  Background Information  

The objective of the Teaching Development Grants (TDG) program is to provide a mechanism which encourages the development of innovative teaching approaches at the University of Tasmania.

On completion of the project a report on the outcomes must be presented to the University Teaching and Learning Committee (UT&LC) by the project leader, accompanied by a letter from the Head of School or Dean.

The Grants can be used to purchase equipment (when not available elsewhere), meet running costs, obtain project or teaching assistance and staff travel within Tasmania.

  Categories  

Prize Value: up to $6,000 (Individual), up to $12,000 (Intrafaculty) & up to $24,000 (Interfaculty)

Closing Date: The deadline for submitting applications for assessment to the Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee (FT&LC) is 25 September 2009. Grants will be awarded by December for implementation in the following year.
