The Research Performance Expectations (RPE) as part of the UTAS Academic have been approved by University Council for implementation. The RPE will apply to all academic staff with a research component to their workload (Teaching/Research and Research Only staff).

Over the next few weeks all academic staff and their Managers will receive an “RPE Summary and Planner” as part of the information provided for the ARP career conversations. This document will be pre-populated with research performance data as recorded in WARP.

Given this is a significant and complex document, Tracey Thomas, (Manager Research Performance and Analysis), will be providing some training sessions over the next couple of weeks to assist you in interpreting the RPE and the Planner.  This training will initially be aimed at Deans, Associate Deans’ Research, General Managers and Research Managers but other staff would be welcome attend.  There will be further training opportunities in late October/November.

Please RSVP as soon as possible and by no later than Tuesday 11 September.
