The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for outstanding contributions to research and research training have been established to recognise staff who have made a major contribution to excellence in research and research training.
Awards are formally presented by the Vice-Chancellor at the annual University's Awards for Excellence Ceremony.
The four categories are-
- Outstanding research performance by early career researchers at Levels A and B
- Internationally recognised research at levels C, D & E
- Exceptional research training supervision
- UTAS Research Medal
