The Office of Research Services hubs are now operational. ORS has utilised the hub model to develop a partnership approach between researchers, ADRs and GRCs to facilitate specialist research administrative and research strategic support in the areas of research development, higher degree research, publications and reporting.

The ORS Executive Director, Dr Jodi Clyde-Smith, welcomes the opportunity to provide increasingly tailored research services to the academic community, noting that the imminent completion of Hub ORS staff core training marks a major step in developing this specialized assistance. Dr Clyde-Smith envisages a process of fine tuning in the first 12 months of operation, whereby researcher feedback will assist in tailoring services to further suit the needs of each Hub.

The expanded ORS staff team looks forward to providing high quality research services to the academic community. And, on behalf of ORS, Dr Clyde-Smith extends her thanks to all academic and professional staff for their flexibility and goodwill during the transition process.
