ARC Fellows

The Australian Research Council (ARC) supports research in areas of national importance by providing outstanding researchers with incentives to conduct their research in Australia.

The ARC delivers three major Fellowship Schemes by providing project funding in addition to salary support:

  • Discovery Early Career Research Awards provide focused support for excellent basic and applied research by early career researchers
  • Future Fellowships support the best and brightest mid-career researchers in areas of critical national importance
  • Australian Laureate Fellowships support world-class research leaders who play a significant, sustained leadership and mentoring role
