Four CSL facilities now quarantine accredited

Published 11 Jun 2011

AQIS has recently granted quarantine accreditation to four CSL instrumental facilities.

These facilities include Infrared and Raman Spectroscopy (L4 Rm 448, contact Dr Thomas Rodemann), Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry (L4 Rm 445, contact Mr Keith Harris), Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (L2, Rm 253, contact Dr Ashley Townsend) and Electron Microscopy (L2 Rm 254, contact Dr Karsten Goemann).

The licence granted (5.1 Quarantine Containment Level 1 (QC1) Facility) allows the CSL to receive and analyse samples from other quarantine approved premises, but does not allow the CSL to act as primary importer of samples from outside Australia.  Please feel free to contact the appropriate scientist should you wish to have quarantine controlled samples analysed using CSL facilities.
