Collins Street, Menzies Centre
The instrument provides sophisticated live imaging capacity for a range of preparations (in vitro and in vivo) and meets most of the diverse requirements of researchers without the need for two microscopes (each dedicated to either confocal or multiphoton applications). The multiphoton capability enables imaging of real time cellular activities in small living plants and animals, for example, the dynamic changes in nerve cells in the brains of living animals.
