This session will provide an overview of the Australian Research Council's (ARC's) major initiatives and priorities for 2018, including an opportunity to hear the ARC’s expectations for ARC proposals.

Professor Joanne Tompkins, ARC Executive Director for Humanities and Creative Arts will attend the University of Tasmania to provide an overview of the ARC's major initiatives and priorities for 2018.

There will be an opportunity for audience Q and A following the presentation, facilitated by Associate Professor Erik Wapstra, Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of SET.

All current recipients of an ARC grant and any applicants intending to submit an ARC proposal in 2017 and beyond are encouraged to attend.
