This one day workshop, which is a compulsory unit in the Graduate Certificate in Research, will focus on:

  • principles of academic writing and broad presentation skills
  • managing and reviewing the literature
  • writing a research proposal
  • presentation skills for conferences, seminars, discussions and poster presentations (including differences in styles between disciplines)
  • principles of academic writing (developing responsible writing skills, structuring extended writing, technique and writing style and incorporating the work of other scholars into your writing)
  • preparing research results for publication

REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MONDAY 30 JULY
Participants can attend the workshop without enrolling in the unit
