This 6th August session has been cancelled.
The next induction, scheduled for the 8th October 2013 will be an updated session with refreshed content that will better reflect the recent changes that have occurred within the UTAS research space with the implementation of the Hub model.

This session will provide new UTAS staff with an essential overview of the research environment at UTAS and essential things they should know about conducting research at UTAS including:

Intellectual Property and Commercialisation   10:30am - 10:45am
Research Integrity and the requirements of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research 10:45am - 11:15am
Research Ethics 11:15am - 11:40am
Break- Lunch    11:40am - 11:50am
Publications 11:50am - 12:10pm
Graduate Research 12:10pm - 12:20pm
Library Services 12:20pm - 12:40pm

At the end of this session, attendees will confidently be able to access a host of research support services available from the Office of Research Services. Lunch will also be provided.
