This session is for all research staff, PhD and Honours students who intend to submit ethics applications in the future.

Topics will include:

  • Ethics applications and approval processes,
  • Obligations, role and responsibilities of the researcher,
  • Ethics Officers and Committee Chairs will be present for a Q&A discussion relating to;
    • Health and Medical Human Research Ethics Committee
    • The Tasmanian Scientific Research Advisory Committee
    • Social Sciences Human Research Ethics Committee.

A light lunch will be provided in the foyer prior to session commencement.
