Research Summer 2013 sessions are aimed primarily at Education researchers and Research Higher Degree students but would also be beneficial for researchers in the social sciences and humanities areas.
In this talk, Janet Dyment will provide an overview of the process of completing an ethics application. Janet will explain the difference between a full and minimal risk application and introduce the audience to the National Statement that guides the conduct of research. Janet will also present some 'case studies' of ethical issues in research and will provide exemplars of successful applications.
