This collaborative roundtable will showcase UTAS' involvement in the 2012 EIA trial, and draw on our considerable institutional experience in both administrative and academic aspects of research impact.
Roundtable participants include national academic leaders, key contributors to the EIA structure and process, UTAS researchers involved in case studies submitted to the trial, and industry partners. In so doing, the roundtable will model the kinds of creativity and collaboration that is essential between academic and professional staff across the institution, and between the university and external partners.
By focusing on a recent UTAS research success story, the roundtable will provide an opportunity both to acknowledge the nationally significant work being undertaken by our researchers and research administrators and to model best practice.
This round table is facilitated by the Centre for Colonialism and Its Aftermath, which has a decade-long history of developing interdisciplinary, creative, and engaging research environments to produce both pure basic and applied research outcomes.
Speakers:
UTAS Academics; Industry partners including government; community groups and cultural industries as well as research administrators are invited to attend.
