It is widely accepted that although university rankings are controversial and frequently criticised, they are influential and here to stay. They are extensively used by our competitors and our customers: potential international/domestic students, academic staff, employers, industry and collaborative partners.
This presentation/workshop will review the key ranking systems, their metrics and factors that can drive success.
Participants will gain an understanding of strategies to improve ranking performance across the key ranking systems. To meet out university's aspirations to be in the top 200, will require commitment across the institution.
Presented by Ms Tracey Thomas, Manager, Research Performance.
Academic and professional staff are invited to attend.
