This two hour workshop will give guidance to researchers about how philanthropic grant applications differ from other types of funding applications.

The session will

include information on how to pitch your grant application to different organisations,
how to think laterally about your potential research question and outcomes to fit the aims of the funding body,
give examples of successful applications and
outline a range of general philanthropic funding opportunities.

All interested researchers are invited to attend.
