ARC Development Program

Objectives:

To provide a support program seminars and resources for applicants to ARC Schemes in order to:

  1. Improve the quality of ARC applications;
  2. Encourage early applications which are well supported;
  3. Ensure complimentary Faculty/Institute and Central support of grant development; and
  4. Develop grant-writing skills and raise applicant's awareness of good writing strategy.

The program will focus on Linkage Projects, Discovery Projects, Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) and Future Fellowships. The program is based around a series of seminars outlining the resources available to support and encourage applicants.

ORS are requesting Notifications of Intent to provide a contact resource of potential applicants and to seek information on what specific resources applicants require. Potential applicants will be placed on  a contact list to receive updates on release of funding rules and other resources (both ARC and ORS developed). The list will also be used to refine/further develop seminars and resources to support applicants.
