Background
The Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) scheme is targeted at outstanding early career researchers who have been awarded a PhD within five years or awarded a PhD within eight years and commensurate with a period of significant career interruption.
Assessments for 2014 ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) Projects became available in RMS on Tuesday 18th June 2013.
Key dates for the preparation and submission of rejoinders are listed below:
- Rejoinders - Internal (UTAS) Deadline: C.O.B. Tuesday 25th June 2013
- Rejoinders - External (ARC) Deadline: Monday 1st July 2013
- Rejoinder information session: Friday 21st July 2013, 10:00am-11:50am

How to Access Your Rejoinder - Helpful Tips For UTAS Applicants

Please note:
- Your assessments and rejoinder are located within your DE14 Proposal in RMS.
- To access your assessments and rejoinder, please click on the ‘Proposals’ link on your RMS main page.
- Select ‘DE14’ from the drop down list for ‘Scheme Round’ and then click on the ‘Search’ button to show your Proposals.
- Your assessments are accessible as individual ‘tabs’ within the Proposal.
- Your rejoinder is written and submitted via the ‘rejoinder’ tab.
- Rejoinders have a character limit of 5,000 characters including spaces. If you exceed this limit you will not be able to successfully ‘Submit’ your rejoinder to UTAS ORS.
If you have forgotten your RMS password or User ID please select ‘Reset Password’ or ‘Retrieve User Name’ link on RMS log-in page and follow the prompts.
