The objectives of the Future Fellowships scheme are to:
Over a five-year period (2009 -2013), Future Fellowships will offer four-year fellowships to 1,000 mid-career researchers.
Future Fellowships are available to outstanding mid career researchers (5-15 years post PhD award, up to 22 years with eligible exemptions).
Future Fellowships for funding commencing in 2013 will be the final round for this scheme. Candidates should familiarise themselves with the Funding Rules, Instructions to Applicants, and Frequently Asked Questions available at http://www.arc.gov.au/ncgp/futurefel/future_default.htm.
Seminars are open to all UTAS researchers who would like further information on Future Fellowships and how to submit a competitive proposal. An initial seminar was held on Oct 2012 Further seminars will be announced on Scheme announcement. A PDF version of the 2012 seminar is available here
