Following completion of the thesis examination (including completion of any required thesis corrections) candidates are required to submit two hard-bound copies, or three B5 perfect bound copies, of the thesis to the Graduate Resarch Office.
Once the candidate has fulfilled all of the requiments for thesis submission the Graduate Research Office will request Academic Senate approval to award the degree. Following approval from Acadmic Senate the candidate will be listed as "eligible to graduate."
Graduation ceremonies occur each year in August and December.Candidates who require the conferral of their degree outside of the graduation ceremonies may apply for special permission to have their degree conferred in absentia at a meeting of the University Council.
More information about Graduation can be obtained from the Graduation Office.
