Corporate publications such as annual reports and web sites contain a range of voluntary disclosure decisions, reflecting presumably strategic intent on the part of those making the communication. This project would investigate the relative effectiveness of various narrative and visual rhetorical strategies that might be employed in such communication. The focus would be on supplier motivations and user responses to various impression management devices, both individually and in combination, to assess their effect on decision making.
