Conservatorium of Music Elite HDR Scholarships 2011

The Conservatorium of Music has established a reputation for research in certain key areas, namely Australian and British music, composition and performance-centred research in both classical and contemporary music genres, including jazz and gospel music.

Building on these strengths, the Conservatorium is offering up to three Elite HDR Scholarships for candidates commencing full-time research in 2011:

• Musicology
• Music Performance
• Composition

Consistent with the following priority investigative areas:

• Liturgical Music in Australia
• Music Performance Practice
