The Cuthbertson Elite Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarships honour the late Sir Harold Cuthbertson and Lady Cuthbertson whose generosity made them possible.
Successful applicants must have completed at least four years of tertiary education studies and have achieved first class honours or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution. Scholarships are only available those who will be undertaking a full-time PhD program at the University of Tasmania in agriculture, horticulture, silviculture or aquaculture.
The stipend is $10,000pa non-taxable. The successful recipient will also be awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award or Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarship at a stipend of $23,728pa (2012 rate). Applicants should complete the Application for Admission and Scholarship for Higher Degree Research Candidature (see How to Apply) and indicate in Section 9.1 Scholarship Support, that you wish to be considered for the Cuthbertson Elite Tasmania Graduate Research Scholarship
