Exertime is computer generated prompting software that reminds employees engaged in desk based work to take part in short bursts of exercise throughout the workday. This innovative technology, created by Drs. Dean Cooley and Scott Pedersen, is used to educate employees about the importance of reintroducing incidental physical activity to the work habits of people engaged in office-based work. A multitude of collaborative research projects will examine health and wellbeing indicators and outcomes relevant to both individual and organisational perspectives.
