The Unit for Medication Outcomes Research and Education (UMORE) is the Clinical Pharmacy research arm of the School of Pharmacy. Led by Professor Gregory Peterson, UMORE is recognised as a leading and respected research unit in the pharmacy arena in Australia.
UMORE’s strategic vision is to become a premier source of information, education and collaborative research in the assessment and improvement of medication outcomes.
UMORE has been very successful and has attracted over $12M in funding in the past 7 years. Members of UMORE have been highly awarded and recognised for their achievements including several ‘Pharmacist of the Year’ awards bestowed by pharmacy’s professional body, the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia. Several members are also recognised internationally as experts in their field and are called upon to provide keynote presentations at national and international conferences.
