Regional Development Cross-Boundary Project in North West Tasmania

The IRD will allocate one Elite Research Scholarship for a project which works across two or more UTAS faculties, schools or institutes to tackle an issue of regional significance, both locally and globally. The proposal should take an intentionally cross-disciplinary approach to an applied research problem, drawing on the strengths of different disciplines to inform a strategic approach. Co-supervisors should be nominated from the Institute for Regional Development and one or more of the following:

• UTAS Rural Clinical School
• Tasmanian Institute for Agricultural Research
• Faculty of Education
• Other UTAS Faculties, Institutes, Schools or Centres
