Everything you wanted to know about the Graduate Certificate in Research (but were afraid to ask!)
All students commencing in a UTAS Higher Degree of Research from 2011 onward are required to undertake the Graduate Certificate of Research (GCR). The GCR is designed to enhance your HDR experience, build your skills as a researcher, develop cross disciplinary relationships and orient you to the UTAS research culture. Presented by Polly McGee and Susanne Kennedy of the Graduate Research Skilling Unit, this presentation will lay out the anatomy of the GCR: what is included in the compulsory units, what electives are available, how credit can be obtained, how the Graduate Conference fits into your UTAS research experience and the exciting opportunities for peer leadership and collaboration.Authorised by the Dean of Graduate Research
