Dissemination of research findings is an important part of the research process as it enables the benefits of the research to be passed on to other researchers, professional practitioners and the wider community. Section 4 of the Code outlines the responsibilities of institutions and researchers in responsible publication and dissemination of research findings. This section of the Code applies to all forms of dissemination, including non-refereed publications, such as web pages, and other media such as exhibitions or films, as well as professional and institutional repositories. The Australian Code Steering Committee is conducting an assessment of the University’s current policies and procedures relevant to Section 4 and will ensure that the requirements of this section are fully met by the beginning of 2013.
