The International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) are funded by the Australian Government and cover international tuition fees for students enrolled full-time in a Higher Degree by Research at the University of Tasmania. The IPRS also provides Overseas Student Health Cover for recipients and their dependants.
The University of Tasmania will also provide a living allowance, currently AUD $23,728 per year to IPRS recipients.
All applicants are advised to read the Conditions of Award (PDF 126KB) prior to submitting an application.
Applicants should submit an Application for Admission and Scholarship for Higher Degree Research Candidature and indicate they wish to be considered for an IPRS.
The Endeavour Postgraduate Awards provide financial support for international students to undertake a Masters or PhD qualification, for up to 3.5 years to in any field of study.

Applications for candidates commencing in 2012 close 30 June 2011.
This prestigious award is offered to students who are citizens of the United States of America, Canada, Chile, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Australia who wish to pursue a doctoral or masters degree by research at the University of Tasmania.
