Full Applications

(i.e. NEAF applications that have not been approved by another HREC), must be received by the submission date in order to be assessed at the next meeting. For example 10 January is the submission date for the TSRAC meeting on 2 February and provided that the application is endorsed by TSRAC, the Health and Medical HREC meeting on 21 February.

Prior Approval Applications requiring full HREC review

These must be received by the date of the TSRAC meeting prior to the HREC meeting at which you wish for your application to be reviewed. For example, 3 April is the submission date for Prior Approval Applications.

Low Risk Applications requesting a Waiver of Consent

These applications must be reviewed by the full HREC in accordance with section 2.3.5 of the National Statement. As a result, these applications must be received by the date of the TSRAC meeting prior to the HREC meeting at which you wish for your application to be reviewed.

Please note that a complete electronic copy of the application must be received by close of business on the submission date. Applications received after a submission date will be assessed at the following month's meeting. Low Risk Applications: may be submitted at any time as these are reviewed by the TSRAC and HREC Chair out of session.
