
The Office of Research Services would like to advise researchers that the Defence Health Foundation has announced their medical research grants round for 2014 is now open.
The objective of the research must be to benefit the health and wellbeing of serving or ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Forces or their immediate families.
The type of research we will fund includes the study of the causes, treatment and prevention of human diseases, which covers both physical and mental conditions.
Grants on offer are one-year establishment grants- minimum $25,000; and booster grants, renewable annually for up to three years- maximum $100,000 p.a.

The internal UTAS closing date will be Monday 29th July 2013.
The external closing date is the 8th August 2013.
Researchers awarded grants will be notified in December, with the expectation that grant distributions will commence in 1st quarter, 2014.
