Nominations are open for the 2013 L'Oréal Australia & New Zealand For Women in Science Fellowships.
Three awards will go to early-career women scientists who are shaping up to become leaders in their field.
Past Fellows say the $25,000 award is a springboard to an international career, opening up opportunities to travel, build their profile, promote their work and meet with leaders in science and politics.
Several Fellows have gone on to win Prime Minister's Prizes and awards from the Australian Academy of Science.
