
Welcome to Dr Jodi Clyde-Smith
Dr Jodi Clyde-Smith has started work with the University as the Executive Director (Research Operations), and will be in charge of the Office of Research Services.
Dr Clyde-Smith has worked in research strategy, management and other roles at the University of Queensland (UQ) and the UK universities of Cambridge, Leeds and Sheffield. She has degrees in the Arts and Sciences, a PhD in the biomedical sciences and a Masters in Tertiary Education Management.
She joins UTAS from the University of Queensland where her most recent role was Deputy Director (Operations) for UQ's largest biomedical translational research institute, the Diamantina Institute.
Professor Paddy Nixon, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), welcomed Dr Clyde-Smith.
“We are delighted to have her join us at UTAS, and I hope you will join me in making her feel welcome,” he said.
