
These awards aim to highlight the importance of science to Tasmania's community and economy.
The Office of Research Services is pleased to announce that applications for the Tasmanian Science Excellence Awards are now open. The Tasmanian Science Excellence Awards will showcase Tasmania’s outstanding scientist and also highlight the importance of science and research for the growth of Tasmania’s community and economy. There will be two categories for nominations:
This award recognises the achievements of the state's leading science and technology researchers over the past 12 months. The winner will be presented with a trophy and a $10 000 cheque. The application for this award can be found here.
This award will recognise a business or individual for their innovative science and technology product, process or service during the 2012/13 financial year. The winner will be presented with a trophy and a $5,000 cheque. The application for this award can be found here.
